When a roof has reached the end of its usable service life, it's time to replace.  There are many roof systems available and we are certified to install and warrant many.

Single Ply Roofs

Single ply roofing is generally a layer or consecutive layers of insulation and one ply of membrane.  Single ply roofs are divided into two categories: Thermoplastic and Thermoset.  Thermoplastic roofs have seams that are bonded together with heat.  Thermoset roofs have seams that are bonded together with solvents and adhesives or pressure sensitive tapes.

We install our single ply roofs in one of three ways.

1.  Mechanically attached

2.  Fully adhered

3.  Ballasted

There are hybrid systems available; however, we like to stick to the 3 main attachment methods.

Our mechanically attached systems are fastened to the roof deck with screws and plates made specifically for the membrane installed.  We often enhance the fasteners in the corners and perimeter of the roof to meet the manufacture specification for warranty.

Our fully adhered systems have insulation that is either adhered or mechanically attached to the roof deck.  The membrane is attached to the insulation by a bonding adhesive.

Our ballasted systems are built from loose laid insulation, loose laid membrane with reinforcement in the corners and angle change all covered by pavers or river rock.  The weight of the ballast is what holds the roof in place.

There are strategic advantages for any attachment of a single ply roof.  Some buildings are better off with one vs another.  If your project does not have an architect or a roof specifier, we will use our experience to assist in choosing the best fit for your building.

All of our single ply systems come with an optional NDL (no dollar limit) warranty backed by the manufacture.  We are certified to provide these warranties.  Please see our certifications page for more information on the manufacturer's products we install.

We install metal roof systems.  We install standing seam and R-Panel.  The exposed fastener systems work great for barns, pavilions, car ports; however, we do not recommend this panel for structures with interior use.  Eventually the fasteners wear out and offer water access to the interior of a building.  Our standing seam options have no exposed fasteners and come with a variety of components that make for a long term roofing system.
